Video Tape to mp4 Digital File
We transfer all types of video tape, including VHS, Hi-8, MiniDV, VHS-C. Typical turnaround time is two business days for 1-2 tapes. Larger orders take longer, call for a time estimate.
Depending on the video content, a two hour video tape will typically create an mp4 file of 2-4 GB.
You are requested to provide your own USB flash drive or external hard drive (PC-based) with sufficient free memory space to accommodate your tapes. Upon request, we can provide USB flash drives, in which case, please call to discuss requirements and pricing.

Video Tape to DVD

Each DVD holds a maximum of 120 minutes (2 hours) of video. Multiple tapes can be transferred to the same DVD, if they will fit.

DVD to mp4 Digital File
We use a high quality DVD player and mp4 converter hardware to convert DVDs to mp4 files in real time, thus avoiding the interlacing artifacts that are present when the DVD files are simply converted to mp4 files in a computer. Typical turnaround time is two business days for 1-2 DVDs. Larger orders take longer, call for a time estimate.

Movie Film Transfer
We transfer 8mm, Super8, or 16mm movie films to DVD. Turnaround time is 15 business days.
Price is $0.24 per foot of film.
All movie film transfer orders are subject to a mimimum charge of $80.00, which includes the first 400 ft of film.
